Cranberry Chutney
My parents are coming out for Christmas and I asked them what they would like for Christmas Dinner. My dad decided he wanted cranberry sauce. Since that’s a very Thanksgiving item I thought I’d put a twist on it and make Cranberry Chutney. I had made this recipe from allrecipes.com before and everyone loved it!
INGREDIENTS
1 C water
3/4 C white sugar
2 t vanilla
1 (12 oz.) package of fresh cranberries
1 C apples (peeled, cored, diced)
1/2 C cider vinegar
1/2 t ground cinnamon
1/4 t ground ginger
In a medium saucepan combine the water and sugar.
Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Add the cranberries, apples, cider vinegar, and spices.
Bring to a boil, then simmer gently for 10 minutes stirring often.
Pour mixture into a mixing bowl.
Place plastic wrap directly on the surface of the sauce.
Cool to room temperature and serve or cover and refrigerate.
Bring chutney to room temperature before serving.

#VSFashionShow 2014 Follow-Up
That’s a wrap! Another Victoria’s Secrets Fashion Show has come and gone. And I’d have to say, it was one of my favorite ones yet! Each collection was elegantly designed, from background and runway graphics to musical guests and the famous wings.
Speaking of wings, could they be any more gorgeous? They really are labors of love with the meticulously placed feathers, gold, Swarovski crystals, and hand painting. I can’t wait to see what the designers are already creating for next year!
